Born to a poor family in the rural area of Southern Illinois the authoress dropped out of school in the sixth grade and learned to struggle as a child in an adults world. She endured much tragedy and loss in her young life but never gave up. She finally realized how important an education was and returned to school. T.A. completed four years of college and then became a reporter for a small newspaper in Florida. She later took up a career in fast food management and traveled all over the United States, Mexico, Central America and Canada. In one of her many interviews the authoress stated that she is grateful for all the places she has traveled and that she has found many great story lines in her unusual life.

Ms. Von Reiman devotes much of her time speaking to young people from poverty stricken areas that have fallen into the same trap she experienced. She hopes that her own success will be an inspiration to others and help them find the determination needed to reach their goals no matter what obstacles lay before them.

T.A. has always possessed a drive to fulfill her dreams even against impossible odds. She began writing in grade school and even though she was constantly encouraged by her instructors to pursue her talents, it was twenty years later that she finally finished her first novel. Delighted at having fulfilled one of her many lifelong dreams, T.A. is determined to reach her other goals as well.
