Celtic Crossings has been selected to coordinate artist management of the new Loudoun County Acoustic Music Series (LCAMS) in Sterling, Virgina. The LCAMS is a new quarterly concert series established by the local chapter of the Knights of Columbus as a cultural resource and ongoing fundraiser for local charities.

The Loudoun County Acoustic Music Series (LCAMS) is a new quarterly concert series established by the local chapter of the Knights of Columbus as a cultural resource and ongoing fundraiser for local charities. Drawing audiences to the Knights picturesque 200 seat venue, the series presents internationally acclaimed performers to the 'fastest growing county in America. After the excellent success of the inaugural concerts in September 2004 that drew new audiences from throughout Loudoun and its neighboring counties, the Knights of Columbus in Sterling have retained Celtic Crossings to help build the new family-focused acoustic series.
In September, three of the finest international performers of Irish traditional music appeared together in a fundraising concert for the Loudoun County Firefighters Widows and Orphans Fund. The unhurried approach to this centuries-old tradition presented by singer Robbie OConnell, concertina master Gearóid Ó hAllmhuráin and fiddler Randal Bays brought a freshness and clarity, assuring a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
The next concerts will be presented Friday and Saturday nights of Thanksgiving weekend and feature Canadas internationally acclaimed sibling duo Pierre and Julie Schryer. The Schryer family name is associated worldwide with brilliant traditional fiddle music. With unlimited energy and talent, they enthrall audiences with Irish, Scottish, French-Canadian and American swing tunes. This will be their debut performance in the Washington DC metro area. Pierre Schryers fiddling is frequently described as a cross between Mark O'Connor, Natalie MacMaster and Itzhak Perlman.
