Crystal Translator 1.6 for Crystal Reports, by Softlang

Crystal Translator allows you to quickly and easily localize/translate reports generated by Crystal Reports. This new version supports Unicode, XLS export/import, word-count.

(PRWEB) October 15, 2004 -- Softlang released Crystal Translator version 1.6 in September 2004. This new version allows you to support more languages by being Unicode compatible. With Crystal Translator you can now localize any reports from version 7 to 10 in any languages.

By storing the translations in a translation memory database, the software is able to pre-translate automatically the new version of your source reports thus you only have to translate what has changed. You can now release the new version of your reports in a fraction of the time it took you before. With this tool you only have to maintain your source reports. You can also obtain an immediate word-count of your source reports to evaluate the translation cost beforehand.

The professional edition of Crystal Translator also allows you to export the translatable text to an XLS file and then re-import it when translated so you can now outsource the translation. It can also import reports you have already translated, retrieving investments you have already made.
