The 10th Annual Christian Country Music Awards will be held at 8:00 p.m. on November 4th, at the Ryman Auditorium. MCA recording artist Josh Turner and Lisa Ryan of the 700 Club will co-host the event. Past nominees have included Charlie Daniels, Diamond Rio, Dolly Parton, and the Oak Ridge Boys. The awards show, to be broadcast live on Great American Country (GAC), is the finale to the Christian Country Convention, an annual gathering that features seminars, fellowship, and talent showcases.
Though all have captivated and charmed their fans, only one vocalist in each category can take away the big prize. Nominees for Male Vocalist of the Year include: Clifton Jansky, Del Way, Marty Raybon, Mike Hammock, and Mike Manuel. The honor of Female Vocalist will go to Dottie Rambo, Jeanie Kay Truesdale, Melanie Walker, Paula Slow, or Stella Parton.
