Willie Tee, the author of the touted nonfiction novel, The Winds of Destiny, continues the saga of his familyÂs tragic secret in the sequel, The Keepers of the Secret. The Midwest Book Review of Oregon, Wisconsin gave the authorÂs previous book, The Winds of Destiny, the highest rating.
In this sequel, the author finds and visits for the first time the grave of a relative who perished during the great family tragedy, though it is forty-five years after the tragedy occurred. The event was filmed by the authorÂs hometown television station.
Willie Tee, explores in depth the issues and problems that caused his familyÂs burdensome tragedy during nineteen fifty-seven on his maternal grandparents farm. The tragedy would be kept as a secret from Willie, his siblings, and cousins, who were toddlers when the incident occurred. The secret and its burdens were revealed to them when they became teenagers.
A series of tragedies spun from the secret over a forty-year period of time. Perhaps it was coincidental, but this sequel raises some issues about the tragedy, which are laden with mystery.
WillieÂs book travels back in time to the nineteen fifties to his grandparentÂs farm where Willie lived for three years after the family tragedy of nineteen fifty-seven. The memoir depicts life on the farm and outlines the Christian principles of life that Willie was taught by his adult relatives. The book is humorous, enlightening and educational. This memoir is the second offering to the authorÂs nonfiction trilogy.
The third book will be written and released at a later date. The release date of The Keepers of the Secret is October 30, 2004, which is appropriate for this haunting true story. It will be available at http://www.authorsden.com/willietee, http://www.amazon.com and for order at book stores. The book is distributed by Baker & Taylor Book Distributors.
