The idea behind Twist in the City" is to take Sharnes upscale interior design knowledge to the city streets where everyday people have common, in-town living, design dilemmas. The media tour was conceived to answer the cry of suburbanites-turned-urbanites who have found themselves a part of the gentrification trend, which is taking over in even some of the most unlikely cities in the United States.
The media tour is named for the hip furniture, lifestyle and design boutique called Twist in Philadelphia, PA, which she co-owns. It is nestled in the heart of a cozy and trendy district in Center City on Pine Street. After the Philadelphia show, Sharne will visit Los Angeles in November, New York in December and a select city in the south, yet to be determined, in the New Year.
