The Service Connected disabled veteran owed business is celebrating the opening of a new, dedicated NASA-based facility at a grand opening event today, Friday October 15, 2004 at 1pm EST. There will be a short program, followed by a viewing of the new warehouse. The event will be held in Hampton at 15 Doolittle Road, Building 1187.
The new NASA store is a 4500 square foot facility which will serve NASAs ROME teams under a five year contract. Mr. Thornton is a disabled veteran who is active in veterans affairs. He was present in the Oval Office in December 2003 when President George W. Bush signed the Veterans Benefit Act of 2003. This act expanded programs for veterans and their surviving spouses.
Mr. Thornton established Blue Eagle Industries in 1999 with its head office based in Haymarket, Virginia. Since then, the company has expanded from coast to coast to include 24 warehouses in 19 states and representatives in all 50 states.
