Anton Fig is Drummer for Philadelphia Area Artist Rick Denzien with Producer David Ivory
Letterman Late Show drummer Anton Fig has been working with Philadelphia area artist Rick Denzien on his upcoming CD, RADIATE, which is being produced by David Ivory at Dylanava Studios in Gwynned Valley and Slot-1 Recording Studios in Ambler, PA.
(PRWEB) October 16, 2004 -- As a member of the Late Shows Orchestra since 1986, Fig has played with artists including Miles Davis, James Brown, Bruce Springsteen, Steve Winwood, Bonnie Raitt, and a host of artists in other venues including Stevie Wonder, Faith Hill, Little Richard and BB King.
Fig also has performed and recorded as a freelance drummer with Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger, Madonna, Paul Simon, Cyndi Lauper, Gary Moore, Spider, Ace Frehley, Joan Armatrading, Rosanne Cash, Joe Cocker, John Phillips, Warren Zevon, Sebastian Bach and Paul Butterfield among others.
Songwriter and Slot-1 label recording artist Rick Denzien has three recording projects to his credit has participated in the Grammy process with his CD, Exit 21, is a Billboard Songwriting Award recipient, and is praised as a songwriting hero" in The Complete Idiots Guide to Songwriting" - subtitle, Reading the Grammy Tealeaves *."
Ivorys work over the years with clients and artists, include Patty LaBelle, OJays, Clive Davis formerly of Jay Records for the Philadelphia band Silvertide, and the Grammy Award winning Philadelphia hip hop band, The Roots (Best Rap Album 1999), for which Ivory recorded and developed the sound and received his Grammy nomination. Both Ivory & Denzien are members of NARAS**.
