Islamic Finance is growing worldwide. The opening of the Islamic Bank of Britain and the German Islamic bond demonstrating this development clearly. An introductory workshop in Frankfurt will be held in December.

(PRWEB) October 17, 2004 -- Islamic Finance came up in the European news by the opening of the Islamic Bank of Britain and the German Islamic Bond. 15 million Muslims in Europe are also a significant market niche.

But what is Islamic Finance about? What are the principles and objectives? Answers to those questions for financial professionals are given by an introductory workshop organised by Michael Gassner Consultancy, Germany a specialised firm on Islamic Finance, and editor of the industry´s newsletter "IslamicFinance.de - Executive News" a free of charge monthly publication. The workshop will be held in the conference centre of the Chamber of Commerce in Frankfurt, Germany, just in the building as the old stock exchange on 1st December.

After the introductory workshop a special topic follows namely Islamic Mortgage and the models applied for it in USA, UK and Canada. There are currently no such offers to Muslims living in continental Europe. Building societies, Mortgage and Retail bankers are invited to book the second seminar separately and learn about the models already in application.
