Decorative Wizard Staffs Add Mystery And Magic To The Home And Garden

Wizard Staffs capture the imagination of the human spirit. Decorative as well as magical, you will enjoy finding places to display them, indoors and outdoors. Add several to a garden.

Succasunna, NJ (PRWEB) October 17, 2004 -- The path chosen was dimly lit and plagued with uncertain danger. Every step grew more burdensome. But there was urgency in the Quest; failure to succeed meant certain doom for the city besieged by the black darkness. The Quest must not falter. Fortunately the traveler had the Staff of Kaltar, a Wizards Staff, to shed light on the perilous journey. There was still power in that Wizards Staff that remained hidden for a thousand years. Before this Quest would come to an end, however, the wielder of the Staff will need to unlock its secrets or all would perish.

Sounds like a bookstore fantasy novel, but a local artisan brings to life Wizard Staffs that will fuel your imagination. These decorative Wizard Staffs will be enjoyed by all who dare to dream. Just imagine.

I happened across a local ironworkers shop one day and noticed great color emanating from his windows. I ventured inside and one item in particular caught my attention. In the sunlit windows of the shop, an array of colored orbs caught the passing sunlight giving an almost magical glow to them. When I inquired about these sparkling, luminous orbs mounted atop what appeared to be decorative iron staffs, I was told by the artisan that they were his interpretations of magical, medieval Wizard Staffs.

Taking ornate steel components the artist shapes them into creative works of art. There is an endless selection of iron styles and coloration of orbs to choose from. Each is hand crafted in the artists workshop ensuring that no two will be alike. The glass orbs and steel components are carefully selected to yield just the right look.

These Wizard Staffs are constructed of welded steel construction. The combination of welded steel and glass offer a sharp contrast between strength and vulnerability, warmth and cold. Some of the Wizard Staffs are adorned with Nature in mind. Steel leaves are woven around the orb tying the natural living world to the earth (steel) and light (glass orbs).

The Staffs are topped with an iron finial to finish the look. A variety of finials are available that offer a different look, select from Victorian, Nature and/or Old Gothic to name a few.

The glass orbs come in a variety of colors, such as green, light blue, dark blue, clear, amber, and violet to name a few. Aerated with bubbles, they have a magical look about them when the sunlight illuminates them.

Wizard Staffs can be placed anywhere around the home, but are more brilliant in front of sunlit windows. Of course they can be placed anywhere you would like to introduce a splash of color or a medieval look. Besides the mystical attraction, they will accent any room in which they are placed. Mine is by my front door sidelight to catch the afternoon sun. But let your imagination be your guide. One woman purchased one of the staffs to go with her Halloween outfit.

You dont have to be limited to the indoors. These staffs can be placed in your front or rear yard gardens. Watch the colors come alive when the sun illuminates them. When you allow the iron to go natural and rust they will take on a whole new look. The cost for these works of art start at $129.95, plus shipping and handling.

The author, Nick Volpe, is always searching for unique artifacts created from the imagination of the human spirit. These Wizard Staffs are a testament to that endeavor. The Wizard Staffs mentioned within this article can be viewed on his website at http://www.nfvproducts.com.
