Taye Drums Annouces Endorser Keith Hall With Scott Cowan & The Western Jazz Quartet To Perform Clifford Brown - Max Roach Tribute Concert At Western Michigan University (WMU) 15 October 2004

Taye Drums announced today Endorser Keith Hall will be performing at the Clifford Brown - Max Roach Tribute Concert with Scott Cowan & the Western Jazz Quartet being held at Western Washington University (WMU) 15 October 2004. - The 50th anniversary of the inception of this important 1950s Hard Bop Quintet will be celebrated with performances of original compositions by Clifford Brown, Max Roach, and Tadd Dameron, among others. The music of Clifford Brown and Max Roach continues to stand the test of time as it influences and inspires musicians and fans alike. Led by Keith Hall and Scott Cowan, the Tribute Concert will include Tom Knific, Trent Kynaston and Steve Zegree, all of whom are on the Jazz Faculty in the WMU School of Music. The Tribute Concert will be held at the Dalton Center at the WMU Kalamazoo Campus starting at 8:15pm.
