New Campaign for Harry Winston by Point One Percent Was Last Ad Work by Richard Avedon

The new celebrity studded black and white print ads for Harry Winston jeweler were the last advertising campaign photographed by the famed Richard Avendon who died on October 1st.

New York (PRWEB) October 20, 2004 -- Point One Percent, a strategic marketing and advertising agency offering unparalleled insights into the most affluent market, has created a new print campaign for Harry Winston, the name synonymous with the most beautiful fine jewelry in the world.

The black and white campaign was shot by the late, famed New York photographer Richard Avedon and features models selected by the legendary lensman. They include actresses Angelica Houston, Julie Delpy and Mena Suvari as well as supermodel Malgosia, fashion icon Cecelia Dean and actor Ari Benjamin. Every model was chosen to mirror the beauty and eclectic elegance of Harry Winstons diverse clientele.

Richard Avedon was chosen to photograph the ads because his body of work reflected the essence of Harry Winston: the glamour, sophistication and fashion elegance that is still very much a part of New York," said Alexander Duckworth, President of Point One Percent. Harry Winston and Richard Avedon artistically captured the aesthetic of true beauty, in gems and in photography."

The ads showcase a range of jewelry from engagement rings to diamond hoop earrings to multi-million dollar vintage Winston pieces.

The campaign is scheduled to break worldwide in the November issue of Vanity Fair on October 12th, and also in the November issues of Town & Country, Departures, New Yorker, W, and Architectural Digest among others.
