New MCI Documentary
Mirabunta Films announces a documentary about MCI's War against Baby Boomers, ERISA and TITLE VII
Marina del Rey, CA (PRWEB) October 30, 2004 -- Mirabunta Films, announced that it would begin a documentary about MCI next month entitled THE RAPE OF KENNEDYS CHILDREN, THE JUNGLE, THE OCTOPUS, and MCIS WAR Against BABY BOOMERS, ERISA, and TITLE VII.
The film, financed by donated services and funds will chronicle the legal, and personal struggles of a former WORLDCOM/MCI employee,Gerald Maxey from his filing of a law suit against MCI to its resolution.
The film will be shot on 24P and made available in DVD FORMAT free to schools, and community organizations.
Britt LeMay, founder of Mirabunta Films, stated that the film would be shot in a cinema verite style highlighting MCIs predatory practices against the retirement hopes and aspirations of its own employees.
Mr. Maxey, a former MCI employee, and the main subject of the film, stated, I start this film as a Tom Joad looking for redress, and we will pursue justice like Lee Marvin in POINT BLANK. We do the Lords work."
Ms. LeMay stated We will seek interviews with MCI, failing that, we will interview empty chairs."
Filming begins next month with the drafting of the Complaint against MCI.
Ms. LeMay and Mr. Maxey thanked the TruMajority, AARP, USC film students and Loyola Marymount sound engineering students for their support.
