Current Bid Already Over $1,500.00 for the Largest Barbie® Online Charity Auction to Benefit Gildas Club Launched on eBay

Largest Barbie® auction benefiting Gilda's Club launched last week on eBay is currently at a high bid of over $1,500 with several days left. The auction, created by the Shabby But Chic PowerSellers (a group of over 60 female eBay PowerSellers), received numerous bids within the opening minutes of the auction and continues to climb in value.

SAN JOSE, CA (PRWEB) October 19, 2004 --- The eBay group, The Shabby But Chic PowerSellers (http://www.sbcp.us ), launched the largest Barbie® auction ever listed on eBay on Thursday, October 14. The auction immediately received bids within minutes of its launch and the current bid is over $1,500 with more than five days left. All proceeds of the auction will benefit the national charity organization Gildas Club (http://www.gildasclub.org ).

The members of this group of top female eBay PowerSellers donated over 1,600 items for the auction. The collection contains items spanning four decades, from 1960 to 2004, including Barbie dolls, clothing accessories, vehicles, furniture, cases and houses. Bidding will end on Sunday, October 24th at 8:00 p.m. PST.
