Hip Hop Training Camp: Legends Teach New Rhythm; Red Bull Beat Riders Take the Floor

Red Bull Beat Riders is a seven-day B-Boy training camp that challenges the worlds most promising young dancers to new movements, mentors, and styles. Students will spend each morning working directly with the faculty on the foundations of movement in the areas of B-Boying, Locking, The Funk Styles, House, Capoeira, and Abstract/All terrain.

(PRWEB) October 20, 2004 -- WHAT:   Red Bull Beat Riders is a seven-day B-Boy training camp that challenges the worlds most promising young dancers to new movements, mentors, and styles. Students will spend each morning working directly with the faculty on the foundations of movement in the areas of B-Boying, Locking, The Funk Styles, House, Capoeira, and Abstract/All terrain. Each afternoon will be spent practicing and perfecting the mornings lesson.

Though the faculty will serve as a wealth of dance knowledge for the students, they will also teach the lessons theyve learned through personal trials and tribulation as professional artists.    

WHO:   Thirty of the worlds most promising hip hop dancers were chosen to attend the Red Bull Beat Riders. The dancers were chosen from over 90 applicants from six different countries who each submitted videotapes showcasing their most impressive skills, vying to work with this faculty of top industry legends.

Faculty will include: Ken Swift, Crazy Legs, Asia One, Cros1, Zulu Gremlin, Brian "Footwork" Green, Don "Campbellock" Campbell and Capoeira

WHEN:   October 31- November 7, 2004

WHERE:   Students, faculty and attending media will spend the week at Camp Woodward West, about an hour and half outside of Los Angeles. Camp Woodward West is known as the premiere schooling grounds for gymnastics, skateboarding, in-line, and BMX, though Red Bull Beat Riders will introduce a whole new type of movement to the campgrounds.
