Jenkins to be Interviewed Live on KXAS, NBC-5 Dallas
Paul Jenkins, independent candidate for US Congress in Texas' 3rd District will appear live on KXAS, NBC-5 to answer viewer questions and explain why he is the best choice this November.
Plano, TX (PRWEB) October 20, 2004 -- NBC-5, KXAS TV Dallas will be interviewing Paul Jenkins, independent candidate for U.S Congress in Texas 3rd District on October 20th, 2004 live on the 4:00 p.m. newscast.
Todd Wallace, NBC 5 afternoon anchor, will conduct the interview based on questions submitted by NBC 5 viewer email.
Jenkins spoke of the interview today saying I am pleased that KXAS has given candidates time on the afternoon news to spend a few minutes addressing the voters concerns. The hardest part of running a grassroots, independent campaign is to get the message out. I believe if the voters have a chance to hear my message, we can return Congress to the people and away from the partisan career politicians and money that control Washington today."
Jenkins is running on a fiscally conservative, socially moderate platform that calls for real cuts in federal spending, deficits and debt, reform of health care through competition and free market approaches over ever increasing government programs and control, and economic development and job creation through the elimination of corporate taxation, reduction of federal regulations, repeal of H1B visas and a focus back on the American worker.
Mr. Jenkins has been a Plano resident for more than 10 years and owns and operates a consulting firm advising clients on technology and management issues. He graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Jenkins is married with three children.
