Raleigh, N.C. (PRWEB) October 20, 2004 -- Just in time for Halloween, Lulu (http://www.lulu.com) and Cyber-Pulp Press (http://www.cyberpulpbooks.com) announce the release of Cyber-Pulps Halloween Anthology 3.0. It features 44 tales of horror and suspense from talented small press writers that are sure to send shivers down your spine.

Halloween Anthology 3.0 is edited and published by Cyber-Pulp Press and printed on-demand by Lulu.com. Halloween Anthology 3.0 is available in a trade paperback or an e-book download at http://www.cyberpulpbooks.com/H30index.html and http://www.lulu.com/content/79488.

says Bob Young, founder of Lulu.com. In previous years the anthology has only been available as an e-book download and was extremely popular. This Halloween, were able to provide a high-quality paperback version of the book as well.
Actor and suspense writer Michael Boatman, best known for his roles on Spin City and the HBO series Arli$$, wrote the introduction for this years anthology. A portion of the royalties from sales of the book will benefit the Read Foundation (http://www.readnyc.org/), a research-based program which helps at-risk children become proficient readers.

A second anthology, Midnight Posse, is also available this Halloween season (http://www.lulu.com/content/80396). It showcases a series of weird western tales which have achieved a cult-like following among fans of this genre. The introduction for this book was written by Joe R. Lansdale, whos published more than 20 weird western books and is known as the Stephen King of Texas. 50 percent of the royalties from this book benefit the National Association to Protect Children (http://www.protect.org/).

The anthology series started three years ago and continues to grow in popularity," says Bob Gunner, editor and founder of Cyber-Pulp Press. This year weve added Midnight Posse and the charitable donation component. Our hope is that readers will enjoy the stories and in return were able to make a sizeable donation to two important organizations that make a difference in the lives of children."

Were proud to partner with Cyber-Pulp and Bob Gunner on this project" says Bob Young, founder of Lulu.com. In previous years the anthology has only been available as an e-book download and was extremely popular. This Halloween, were able to provide a high-quality paperback version of the book as well."

Lulu provides writers an outlet to publish on their own terms. Authors retain creative control over their content and set their own royalties. Halloween Anthology 3.0 and Midnight Posse are prime examples of how Lulu helps independent writers reach their targeted audience.
