Veoda begins beta testing of it's new search engine technology...

Veoda's program collects results from most major search engines, including Google, yahoo, Alltheweb, Gigablast and ranks the sites in its own unique algorithms. Searches are speeded up by its advanced use of "caches" (snap shots) of previous searches (View the cache at http://results.veoda.com)
Results pages include Alexa info, Google page rank, traffic graphs and reviews. With Veoda's new fresh design and soon to be preferences system I highly recommend you check it out.
Future plans for Veoda's search engine include a preferences system, where users will be able to completely cahneg the design of Veoda, set their favourite search engines, turn on/off filters and more... Also in the pipe line is a new keyword match system which will search speciality search engines depending on the users query. Veoda also hopes to be displaying it's own results soon, possibly provided by nutch.org's new open source search engine.
Veoda is a rising star in the search engine world, i think we can expect a lot from this company. But the search engine business it a competetive market, will Veoda be able to cut it against the competition?
