Particle for the People Food Drive Hits College Campuses - Renowned Rock/Electronica Band Particle Will Reward One School With a Free Concert

(PRWEB) October 21, 2004 -- Particle, the Los Angeles-based band who have built up a massive following through non-stop touring over the course of a four year existence, are sponsoring a multi-campus college and community food drive.

Dubbed Particle for the People", the food drive is taking place October 25-31 on close to twenty campuses spread across the United States.

The school that turns in the most food items to a recognized food bank at the conclusion of the campaign will be rewarded with a free concert by Particle, who are much-loved by a wide cross section of college students.

Particles debut album, Launchpad, was released by the Or Music label in mid-2004. CMJ New Music said theres something deeply hypnotic about the fury and frenzy heard on Launchpad. Its an unstoppable blast of gritty electronic jam that works...".
