Zycus Announces NEW Release of AI Based Auto-classification and Data Enrichment Software in Their Spend Data Management 2.5 Suite

Zycus Inc. the leading Spend Data Management software vendor announced a new release of products in SDM suite 2.5. Available now in AutoSpec, is the all new functionality of AI based enrichment of spend data with product specifications and attributes. This new module along with a host of other enhancements to the flagship classification product AutoClass, makes version 2.5 release one of the most exciting product developments for sourcing and procurement data quality.

(PRWEB) October 22, 2004 -- In a field populated by only a handful of advanced software tools focused on customer data quality, Zycus software is poised for rapid growth. More and more people are looking for products to help improve classification and data enrichment capabilities on their business data-warehouses. This is a sharp departure from the early years of consulting services which relied entirely on a manual approach to analyze data and generate reports. Having paid a fortune through repeated investments in consulting services, mature organizations are now keen to leverage their ERP systems and IT infrastructure such as Data Warehouses (DW), to garner sourcing and procurement insight.

All that these customers need is good data" said Sandip Maiti, Vice President of Marketing at Zycus. We have designed the new AutoClass 2.5 to plug in to any existing DW, and handle bulk classification of transaction data, extracted and loaded from multiple legacy and ERP systems across the enterprise. We now make available a host of integration APIs and custom built business adapters, which make integration within existing IT stacks (such as SAP BW) a breeze," added Sandip.

Zycus AutoClass 2.5, the industrys leading artificial intelligence based classification software engine has been upgraded for faster processing (throughput) and higher quality. It is now able to handle both item description and supplier names to ensure maximum coverage of spend data for analysis. When used in combination with the new tool AutoSpec for automated item attribute extraction and enrichment, Zycus Spend data management software will be hard to beat. The solutions that can be built around Zycus SDM software are multiple", said Aatish Dedhia, CEO of Zycus Inc. Spend Analysis is so hot, that everyone is planning to build and own that capability in the next 12-18 months. Managing data quality to get a better visibility into the enterprise spend, is now a part of the corporate DNA. There is no going back, once you have leveraged detailed spend visibility for discovering savings opportunity," added Aatish.

Zycus SDM 2.5 is available for shipment end of October 2004.
