Â Ed Schipul, president and CEO of Houston-based Schipul - The Web Marketing Company has hired Kathryn Sokol as a member of SchipulÂs programming team. Sokol is responsible for developing and maintaining code for the Tendenci software suite, as well as direct communication with clients.
In its seventh year, Schipul - The Web Marketing Company developed and builds on the TendenciÂ membership management software. Tendenci software helps organizations expand and increase their membership base by providing users with online tools, such as job boards, electronic newsletters and event calendars, while respecting the privacy of site users.
Sokol graduated from the University of Houston in 2004 with a degree in management information systems and marketing. Prior to joining Schipul, Sokol served as a sales consultant for Cingular Wireless in Houston. She also served as a project manager for Online Database Management, as well as software manager for CompUSA in Sugar Land, Texas.
