Brunhilde Merker named 2003 Businessperson of the Year for the State of Florida

The National Republic Congressional CommitteeÂ?s Business Advisory Council has named ScoringSystem, Inc.Â?s CEO, Brunhilde Merker, the 2003 Businessman of the Year for the state of Florida. The announcement was made at a luncheon attended by Republican Members of Congress at the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C on April 1, 2004.

The National Republic Congressional Committee’s Business Advisory Council has named ScoringSystem, Inc.’s CEO, Brunhilde Merker, the 2003 Businessman of the Year for the state of Florida. The announcement was made at a luncheon attended by Republican Members of Congress at the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C on April 1, 2004.

This prestigious award recognizes America’s top business leaders who have proven business and financial success. The award presentation ceremony was given in concurrence with the Committee’s 6th Annual Congressional Tax Summit discussing the President’s economic plan, tax reduction and homeland security.

Brunhilde Merker, of Sarasota, Florida was recognized for her proven knowledge, success and experience as a business leader.

Along with this honor, Mrs. Merker was selected as an Honorary State Chairman to the National Republican Congressional Committee’s Business Advisory Council because of her active involvement and commitment towards the process of government reform.

As a strong leader and successful businesswoman, Mrs. Merker shares her expertise on dealing with critical issues such as debt reduction, economic growth, retirement, social security and tax reduction.

Brunhilde Merker attended the College of Industry and Commerce in Munich Germany. In 1968 she received her Bachelor of Industrial Business and Administration degree and then in 1970 she received her Secretarial Degree. With further determination, Mrs. Merker expanded her skill set and became a licensed realtor. In 1996, Mrs. Merker came to the USA and officially became a citizen of the United States of America in 2003.

Her impressive business accomplishments include acting as president and owner of Prime Property Development in Spring Hill, Florida where she developed and designed a community for single-family homes. In addition, Mrs. Merker was president and owner of Real Estate Companies in Munich and Berlin, Germany where she purchased and sold real estate and developed plans for new shopping and office centers.
