Digitone Records Signs Worldwide Distribution Deal With Soap
Emerging virtuosic jam band SOAP" has signed a worldwide distribution agreement with Digitone Records.
Peotone, IL (PRWEB) October 22, 2004 -- Emerging virtuosic jam band SOAP" has signed a worldwide distribution agreement with Digitone Records. Gary Gaskin, Director of A&R for Digitone Records, an independent record label, made the announcement.

The five members of Soap are Dave Rehfeldt on drums, Skyler Krapf on piano, Ross Taylor on acoustic guitar and lead vocals, Erich Krapf on lead guitar, and Sean Berkely on Bass.

Soaps debut self titled album will be re-released by Digitone on Oct. 22nd,2004 and is being distributed nationally to retailers such as Virgin Megastores, Best Buy, fye, Tower Records, and to online music vendors such as amazon.com, i-tunes and CD Baby. Expectations are high that the CD will track well both in sales and the charts. Beginning this week, more than 450 commercial and college radio stations will receive a copy of the CD as it goes for ads on October 25th.
Creepysong", a featured track on the CD, has started receiving play on numerous radio stations and online sites. On garageband.com, over the past two weeks, the song quickly soared to number 43 out of more than 1,000 entries. The newly recorded track Endless Directions" rose to 128 out of 1,150 on Oct. 3rd, and received the track of the day award on Oct. 5th. Soap plans to release their second album in February 2005 on the Digitone Records label.
