Law Enforcement Associates Orders Production Tooling for New Stun Pistol with FMT Technology - On Track for March 2005 Launch

Law Enforcement Associates, (OTCBB: LENF) a security and surveillance technology company, has approved the final housing designs for its new stun weapon with FMT(TM) Technology. The Company has ordered the production tooling to meet the projected March 2005 product launch. The contract requires the tooling to be delivered to Law Enforcement Associates, no later then January 30, 2005.

YOUNGSVILLE, NC (PRWEB) October 23, 2004 -- Law Enforcement Associates, (OTCBB: LENF) a security and surveillance technology company, has approved the final housing designs for its new stun weapon with FMT(TM) Technology. The Company has ordered the production tooling to meet the projected March 2005 product launch. The contract requires the tooling to be delivered to Law Enforcement Associates, no later then January 30, 2005.

Mr. John Chudy, who has previously been granted multiple international patents, designed the housing. The new stun weapon has both the feel of a conventional handgun with many standard handgun features such as an ambidextrous safety and auto eject feature for cartridge replacement. Law Enforcement Associates (LEA) owns the tooling for manufacturing the cartridge, which will be used in the stun weapon. LEA also expects to receive first article circuits for the new stun weapon with FMT(TM) Technology from its supplier Bestex Corporation no later than November 30, 2004.
