Dynetech® Corporation has been named No. 71 on the 2004 Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing privately owned companies in the United States. The 2004 list, scheduled for release on Oct. 20 in a special issue of Inc. magazine, also places Dynetech No. 17 among the Inc. 500s top 25 companies ranked by revenue.
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) October 23, 2004 -- Dynetech® Corporation has been named No. 71 on the 2004 Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing privately owned companies in the United States. The 2004 list, scheduled for release on Oct. 20 in a special issue of Inc. magazine, also places Dynetech No. 17 among the Inc. 500s top 25 companies ranked by revenue.
Dynetech, which reported $113.8 million in audited 2003 revenues, has recorded a 378.6 percent annual growth rate since 2000. Headquartered in downtown Orlando, Dynetech also has grown from 55 employees in 2001 to more than 490 company-wide. About 350 Dynetech associates work in Orlando; the balance work at subsidiary locations in Dallas, Salt Lake City and Danbury, Conn.
Dynetech is an enterprise-management company that develops and manages direct-to-market distribution channels for its own proprietary brands, and as an outsource partner for other companies. The company is a recognized leader in the direct marketing of high-value, consumer-focused products and professional training services.
Among Dynetechs proprietary brands are Wizetrade software for self-directed investors in the stock market; and the AGORA Management series, a collection of business-to-business, industry-specific software applications used by companies to manage customers, events, subscriber databases and training activities.
The company also provides technology support to companies such as eBay, contributing to the development of custom-designed auction interfaces, and RCI, providing mainframe support for its custom-designed, online timeshare re-sale service.

To qualify for the 2004 Inc. 500 list, companies must be privately held, U.S.-based firms with at least $200,000 revenue in the year 2000 and $2 million in 2003. Finalists also were required to submit audited financial documents.
The Inc. 500 recognition is the latest in a series of honors bestowed on Dynetech in recent months. In April, the company was named to Inc.s Inner City 100, a list of the fastest growing privately owned companies headquartered in urban core areas. In June, Dynetech was recognized within Florida Trend magazines Golden 200, a list of the largest privately owned companies in the state of Florida. In September, the company was named to the Orlando Business Journals Golden 100, a list of the largest privately owned companies in Central Florida.
