Symagery to Deliver Color Imaging Technology To Leading Japanese AIDC OEM

Symagery today announced that it has orders for its recently introduced color imaging technology from a leading Japanese automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) original equipment manufacturer (OEM) that form the basis for a multi-year agreement.

Ottawa, (PRWEB) October 23, 2004 --- The technology will enable the OEM to capture color images from both color and conventional bar codes. The high-quality, high resolution 1.3 megapixel image resolution is ideal for information capture products, including scanners and kiosks and will be integrated into the OEMs product line and be available globally beginning in the first quarter of 2005.

Symagery was chosen because we are able to deliver the crucial color imager component needed to address the specific application requirements," said Ron Caines, president and CEO, Symagery. Were excited that right after the introduction of our rugged and highest resolution image-based system a leading Japanese OEM has confirmed the value color capabilities can provide. Moreover, we are pleased that this order is a large, multi-year one because it will help strengthen our presence in Asian and global markets."
