Shoot You Video Production Wins Major Health Award

At a recent award ceremony in London the Hillingdon Primary Care Trust won the Communicating Health Award for their Partners in Crime" CD-ROM produced by Shoot You Video Production (UK).

(PRWEB) October 24, 2004 -- At a recent award ceremony in London the Hillingdon Primary Care Trust won the Communicating Health Award for their Partners in Crime" CD-ROM produced by Shoot You Video Production (UK). Hillingdon was the only London-based Trust to win an award.

Now in their seventh year, the annual Communicating Health Awards recognise and reward the excellent communications work that has gone on within the NHS over the past year.

Entries were not only high in numbers but also of an incredibly high standard. The judges were looking for evidence of evaluation as the NHS increasingly expects Trusts to show effectiveness in both clinical and non-clinical areas.

The CD-ROM contained a series of interviews with health care professionals including consultants, key opinion leaders and contained a dramatic reconstruction of how violence towards health care staff can be contained.

Quint Boa, Director of Shoot You and Producer of the CD-ROM said Hillingdon Trust gave us a challenging assignment to produce an innovative way of communicating with health-care professionals. This award demonstrates that the approach of using multi-media has been recognised as being a modern and effective communications tool within the NHS."
