Parsippany, NJ (PRWEB) October 25, 2004 -- SVM E-Business Solutions, a leading Web consulting and development firm, announced today that the Web site for Rutgers Graduate School of Education (Rutgers GSE) has been honored with the Standard of Excellence Award in the Web Marketing Association's 2004 WebAward competition.

The annual WebAward competition is the premier award competition that judges Web site development against an ever increasing Internet standard and against peer sites within their industry. The Standard of Excellence Award recognizes "the standard of excellence for which all corporate Web sites should strive."

We feel this award is a great tribute to the collaborative efforts of the SVM and GSE project teams," said Bob DeStefano, president of SVM E-Business Solutions. We had the pleasure of working with many members of the GSE community, including faculty, students and staff, to define the goals and objectives for the Web site. We are proud to be recognized for our excellent work on this project, in keeping with SVMs tradition of creating Web sites that produce measurable results for our clients."

SVM created the award-winning Web site (http://www.gse.rutgers.edu) working closely with the Rutgers GSE project team. The Rutgers GSE Web site serves as a strategic communication tool that provides prospective students with a compelling presentation Rutgers GSE programs and services. The site also serves as a personalized portal for Rutgers GSE students, faculty and staff providing access to tailored information, news, and intranet resources.

"Our technical objective for this project was a flexible content-management system for cataloging, storing and dynamically publishing our websites, with integrated workflow-management to delegate content publishing to content owners," said Steve Barnhart, PhD, Director of IT at Rutgers GSE. Our marketing objective was to ensure effective communication with our target audiences, giving them easy access to clear well-designed information. We also wanted to brand the site in such as way as to strongly associate it with the GSE. SVM worked with us carefully to meet our objectives with this wonderful site."
