Protecting Yourself from Internet Predators

One in five children have received unwanted advances from Internet predators, according to NBC News. We have designed a site, www.Ntouch4Families.com, that addresses these concerns. This innovative site was created as a safe and secure way for families and friends to communicate via the Internet. It includes a wide range of features and is fun to use.

(PRWEB) October 24, 2004 -- Recently, NBC televisions 'Dateline aired an investigative report exposing the dangers for children using open chat rooms". What they found were men lurking in these environments, waiting to take advantage of underage kids. However, children are not the only ones at risk on the Internet. Increasingly, predators and unscrupulous people seeing the profits in scamming unsuspecting online users are appearing in record numbers. For some, the Internet can be a scary place.

What can a person do to protect themselves against these threats? For a start, when communicating over the Internet, use a secure web site that is closed to all but those you want to contact. Does such a site exist? It does, because we created it to provide a place where family and friends could be safe.

www.Ntouch4Families.com was designed as a password-protected closed environment where only those members of your family or circle of friends can interact with you and your children.

Since you control who is in your 'family hub', you can be sure that there will be no inappropriate advertising, spam, or viruses sent to either you or your children, or that people who are not known to you are talking to your children when they are online at www.Ntouch4Families.com.

In addition to chat rooms", we have photo albums and bulletin boards where pictures and messages can be shared with family members; e-cards and announcements to mark special occasions; reminders for those events; a family contact organizer to easily stay in touch -- even with people who frequently move or change telephone numbers; secure messaging to replace problematic e-mail; and so much more. There is even a family tree where memories and family history can be preserved. Additional features will be added as membership increases.

Using this site is fun and easy. Its web based, so theres nothing to download. It can be accessed from any computer having an Internet connection, so its perfect for those away from home or travelling who want to remain in touch. No one is monitoring your private information, which is only shared with designated family members and friends.

We invite you to go to www.Ntouch4Families.com and take the tour to experience this site for yourself.
