Naugatuck, CT (PRWEB) October 24, 2004 -- NSI, the northeasts leading technology service company, is proud to announce the appointment of Steven J. McGrath as a Support Engineer reporting to Shailen Patel of the NSI Technical Support Group.

A 1999 graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Mr. McGrath has spent the past 5-years working in a variety of technical support capacities, both in the corporate world and as an I.T. consultant.

Steven brings to NSI a wealth of hands-on technical expertise," said Shailen Patel. We look forward to him bolstering our already top flight technical support organization."

In his consulting work, McGrath provided primary technical support for the installation, integration, and maintenance of LAN/WAN systems - including analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of problems - for several major New York City brokerage houses and venture capitalists. He has performed installations, troubleshooting and product support for a variety of industry leading systems and applications. He also configured, documented and maintained routers, switches and firewalls.

Prior to consulting, Steven spent several years at Webster Bank where he developed, maintained, and improved branch communication systems to increase the efficiency of branch personnel.
