Holiday Gifts and Tasty Treasures Abound at Zion UCC Annual Mini-Mart
Fundraising event for Tremont area landmark church.
Cleveland, OH (PRWEB) October 24, 2004 -- Zion UCC brings back the tradition of the Old Country Store" at the 39th Annual Mini-Mart. Open on Saturday, November 13, 2004 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the school building at 2716 West 14th St., Cleveland, OH. Since 1965, the Annual Mini-Mart has been offering homemade and handcrafted gift items, along with some of the best traditional pastries and baked goods in the area.
The Zion UCC Mini-Mart has been an annual event in Tremont since 1965 to raise funds to help defray the cost of winter fuel bills and give the neighborhood an opportunity to shop for unique, handcrafted Christmas gifts. This year we will be featuring an old favorite, 10 Bean Soup Mix," homemade jams, jellies and preserves, assorted pies, cakes, cookies and pastries prepared especially for this event by the women of the church. We are accepting reservations from private vendors who wish to sell items for profit. Table rental begins at $10.00. Space is limited so contact the church at (216) 861-2371 before November 1st.
Raffle tickets and Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra Concert tickets will also be on sale. The monthly rummage sale (second floor) and the kitchen will be open as well serving soup and sandwich lunches reasonably priced. There is ample parking behind the church and on Branch Ave. and the first floor of the building is handicap accessible.
