The comedy troupe, better known for their relief efforts during the attacks on 9/11 with their CD The Afghan Files," became one of the top downloaded International comedy acts on the Internet with their #1 comedy hit The Bin Laden (Banana Boat) Song." Since then, the troupe has been played on morning radio throughout 3 Continents, featured on CNN Headline News, and played on the Nationally Syndicated radio show The Dr. Demento Show", being aired along side other well known acts Monty Python & Weird Al Yankovich.

Their live shows implement a variety format that includes interactive improvisation, song and commercial parodies, as well as scripted material. The tour also featured their famed 12 foot Joke Board," which was inspired by Rowan & Martins 'Laugh-In. They plan on releasing a DVD of their written sketches and live material in 2005.

Started in 1999, The Misplaced Comedy Group started by recording radio parodies of songs and commercials. They Gained International recognition with their CD "The Afghan Files" to help raise funds for their local American Red Cross after the attacks on 9/11. They then became one of the top downloaded comedy acts, after their song "The Bin Laden Banana Boat Song" was played on Radio and Television throughout the Country.
