Princeton Township Mayor Phyllis L. Marchand, and West Windsor Township Mayor Shing-Fu Hsueh welcome speakers and attendees of Emerging Information Technology Conference. The fourth annual Emerging Information Technology Conference (EITC 2004) to be held on October 28 and 29, 2004 at Friend Center of Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey, U.S.A. will bring together technical experts and business leaders from the North America and Pacific Rim.
Princeton, NJ (PRWEB) October 27, 2004 -- Princeton Township Mayor Phyllis L. Marchand, and West Windsor Township Mayor Shing-Fu Hsueh welcome speakers and attendees of Emerging Information Technology Conference.
The fourth annual Emerging Information Technology Conference (EITC 2004) to be held on October 28 and 29, 2004 at Friend Center of Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey, U.S.A. will bring together technical experts and business leaders from the North America and Pacific Rim. Distinguished speakers include Dr. Johnsee Lee and Dr. Jassy Shian-Jy Wang of the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), and Dr. Robert Hwang of Brookhaven National Lab.
The General Conference Chairs are Dr. Ruby Lee of Princeton University and Dr. Si-Chen Lee of National Taiwan University. Dr. Sue-Jane Wang of Food and Drug Administration and Dr. Robert Hwang of Brookhaven National Lab are the Conference Chairs.
This years five-track technical program includes nanotechnology organized by Dr. Benjamin Chu ), State University of New York at Stony Brook; micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) by Dr. Darrin J. Young , Case Western Reserve University; system-on-chip (SoC) by Dr. Yu Hen Hu , University of Wisconsin at Madison; bioinformatics by Dr. Cathy H. Wu , Georgetown University Medical Center; and content, computer, communications, consumer electronics, and integration (C4I) systems by Dr. Shu-Ping Chang, IBM T. J. Watson Research Center.
Mayor Marchand said, "I applaud the objectives of the EITC: bringing together experts and industry leaders to share technological advancements and business experiences, strengthening the technical and business ties between the Pacific Rim and North American IT industries. EITC also highlights the vital importance of fundamental and applied research in all of the disciplines."
