It’s not everyday that the stats align so impeccably in human resources. Today, OnlineBenefits announced that it has signed its 400th benefits broker partner and that its 4,000th Benergy™ employee communication portal has gone live, just over 40 months after Benergy first donned the uniform.

In the HR industry, no Web-based employee application has enjoyed such strong market penetration in such a short time span. The 4,000 employers rely on the multi-award-winning Benergy to communicate with 890,000 employees, not including their spouses who also use the portal.

What’s remarkable is that this rapid adoption was made possible by group benefit brokers who at one time were timid about implementing Web technologies. When Benergy was released in early 2001, OnlineBenefits began to sign up brokers to commit to delivering Benergy to clients. With extraordinary training and support from OnlineBenefits’ customer service teams, partners have learned to successfully build employee portals on their own. In fact, they are bringing on an average of 150 new employers each month.
