"Grief's Journey ...When a Child Dies". An Inspiring and Thought-provoking Journal to Aid on the Endless Journey of Grief After the Death of a Young Child.
Dancing Peanut Productions announces the release of "Grief's Journey": An interactive journal which --through beautiful words and original photography-- walks hand in hand with the parent who has experienced the death of a baby or young child, inviting them to explore and put into words the inner turmoil to work towards healing.
Huntington Beach, CA (PRWEB) October 29, 2004 -- Grief's Journey is a guided journal aimed at arousing the powerful emotions necessary to provoke writing and thereby healing.
With the book open towards you, the left-hand side of the book is a page with a background photo with formatted poetry and words flowing over it. While lined journal pages are on the right with the heading, "Tell me what you feel, I am listening...".
A reader could simply enjoy the passionate photography and write nothing at all, or skim around, reading a sentence here or there and write an entire novel. No pressures and no intimidation of a blank page.
Studies have proven time and time again the healing powers of journaling and after the experience of the death of a child, writing is one of the only ways to resemble "normal".
Written and designed by a bereaved mother, Katie Hodge Dean desires nothing more than to share her words of pain and healing in hopes of touching the lives of others who have lived through the death of their baby. Katie has also included some of her own photography to aid the words and poems.
With contributions from the M.I.S.S. Foundation and Kota Press, Katie has found a powerful, yet gentle balance in art to represent of the different aspects of grief.
