President Bush's Healthcare Plan Will Only Help The Middle Class - LowerMyDoctorBills.com Suggests Changing The Way We Buy Healthcare.

Being in control of your financial future is great. It all started by allowing individual retirement accounts or IRAs. Now President Bush is proposing we allow Americans to own their healthcare. The combination of a high deductible insurance plan and a tax-advantaged health savings account does not meet the needs of the masses. If this plan appeals to you, chances are you already have healthcare.

(PRWEB) October 28, 2004 -- Being in control of your financial future is great.

Unfortunately, President Bush's plan does not address the real grass roots health care crisis in this country. Yes, the plan sounds great...who doesn't want to control their medical benefits and make their own decisions...clearly an American dream. However, suggesting that this plan is going to help with the crisis shows the real disconnect between President Bush and the American working class.

There is no quick fix for the healthcare crisis in this country. It is a complex industry that has taken on a life of its own. But, one thing that does need to be addressed is providing quality healthcare benefits to working Americans and their families. We need to reassess how those benefits are acquired.

Gail Lynn Moore, owner of www.LowerMyDoctorBills.com, suggests considering alternative, non-insurance solutions when planning for healthcare. She comments, "Escalating healthcare costs are forcing families to be a little more creative in buying healthcare. The popularity of non-insurance discount plans shows the unmet need in the market."

As a licensed insurance agent in the state of California, she often recommends discount health plans to supplement traditional healthcare plans or as alternatives when people are declined coverage due to pre-existing health conditions. She has access to several plans, but favors the plan offered by the International Association of Business (IAB). IAB is a non-profit organization founded in 1982 to promote the needs of the American working family.

The IAB plans offer four different benefit levels and pricing, but it's the quality of the benefits that has her sold. "The IAB plans give families access to nationwide PPO networks, the same networks used by major insurance companies; and while the plans themselves are not insurance, they provide some insured benefits to members." She adds, "Ideally, every American should have access to affordable, qualtiy healthcare. Until that happens, families can use the IAB plans to have access to some level of accidental medical benefits, doctor benefits and dental benefits in addition to the drug discounts.

www.LowerMyDoctorBills.com is changing the way America buys healthcare.
