Kayak Interactive & United States Professional Poolplayers Association Announce UPA Major League Pool Game

Kayak and United States Professional Poolplayers Association Sign Licensing Agreement for Game Releases Beginning 2005

San Francisco; San Mateo, CA (PRWEB) October 30, 2004 -- Mobile entertainment publisher Kayak Interactive and the United States Professional Poolplayers Association (UPA) have signed a licensing agreement that will result in the first UPA Major League Pool game. Mobile game players will experience an incredible, connected game that allows them to play pool against their friends and family or other competitors, regardless of whether they're in the same room, or on the other side of the world.

As part of the agreement, Kayak will use the likenesses and names of the top players as part of the UPA Major League Pool game, due to be released in the beginning of 2005. Both companies will promote the sport of pool: the kind played in a bar or a in a Vegas lounge, the other played in a car or on a train or even in a bus queue -- wherever mobile takes them. Players will also be able to create buddy lists and join a huge community of pool fans across the globe.
