GRAPEVINE, TX (PRWEB) October 30, 2004 -- VETRO Glassblowing Studio & Gallery will open its doors to the public Wednesday, November 10, 2004 to welcome one of Italys greatest glassblowing masters, Afro Celotto.

With pieces exhibited in art galleries, museums and exhibitions all over the world including highly regarded galleries in the United States such as; the Scherer Gallery in Sedona, AZ, Royal Cameo Glass in New Orleans, LA and The Illuminata Gallery in Houston, TX, this is Afro Celottos first trip to the United States.

We are thrilled to have an artist of such skill at our gallery", says artist and co-owner David Gappa, I have admired Afros work for many years and am honored that he has chosen VETRO to make his US debut."

Vidal, Afro has moved beyond excellence to produce some of the most amazing contemporary art glass pieces in the world today.

Afro Celotto will be at VETRO Glassblowing Studio & Gallery providing live glassblowing demonstrations November 9th and10th from 1:00pm -5:00pm. Wednesday evening, VETRO will host a public reception in honor of Afro from 6:00pm -- 10:00 pm.

During the reception at 7:30pm, Afro will create a special work of art using the complex techniques that make his pieces so uniquely beautiful. Guests will have the unusual chance to have Afro personalize a custom works of art or even watch him create a piece uniquely for them," explains Gary Hayes, co-owner of VETRO, This is sure to be a once-in-a-lifetime event for art lovers in the Metroplex."
