The Gospel Engineers, A Popular Montgomery County, Texas Gospel Singing Group Releases Highly Praised CD in and Around That Area - The CD Has Spread Their Popularity Throughout Texas and Beyond

The Gospel Engineers, A well known gospel singing group throughout the Montgomery County and Houston, Texas areas, released their first CD 0n October 15, 2004. After singing in local churces for a number of years many of their followers suggested they record a CD. The group decided to use some of their original material to complete this project. As a result, radio DJs in and around Houston have given thumbs-up to the powerful message in this piece of music. Local stores can not keep the CD on their shelves.

HOUSTON, TX (PRWEB) October 30, 2004 -- The CD, entitled "Jesus Is Somewhere Watching Over Me" seems to be a local phenomena around the area where the group is based. Moreover, radio stations in other cities are calling to request copies of this CD. The project was recorded on the XRELL label at the Soundmasters studios in Houston, Texas. The CD gained much interest in a matter of weeks. The compilation of songs on the CD were written and arranged by Clennis High, the original guitarist for Archie Bell & The Drells, a popular singing group of the 70s and 80s.

The message in this music is grounded deep in old styled gospel. Many listeners of the Engineers say, 'it is good to hear real soul stirring music like this again'. The group consists of both seasoned musicians in Clennis High, the Jones Brothers, and seasoned drummer, Chester Toliver. But, also the group has benefited from two other members,Richard Davis who came down from Chicago, and "Singing" Eddie Pierson a well known vocalist from Conroe Texas.

The group has met with so much unsuspected success on this project, they are already considering doing a follow-up. However, that will have to wait until they get caught up with current obligations resulting from this CD.

The success of their CD has caused this usually layed back group to do quite a bit of "shaking and moving." They have received twice the number of requests to do engagements than before this new release. It will be interesting to see where the road leads this humble talented group in the future.
