Boston, USA and Warwick UK (PRWEB) October 29, 2004
With business process management (BPM) such a hot topic, there is no better place to go than http://www.bpmg.org (ranked in the top 40,000 websites world wide) for comprehensive information on all things BPM – a statement the US market has made loud and clear.
BPMG.org is a global community and the BPM Group has its strongest presence in Europe (stemming from the group’s headquarters in the UK). However, that may not be the case much longer.
The organization has seen rapid community membership growth, particularly in the US, more than doubling its membership in the past 12 months. To support this interest, BPM Group began preparations for a strong increase in US market presence earlier this year. The group now has an office in Boston, a presence in Dallas, and a full calendar of training and seminar events nationwide has been prepared and published for 2005.
“Our US membership has skyrocketed, now representing almost half of our membership base,” said BPM Group CEO Steve Towers. “Our plan was to roll out strong US support in 2005 but that just wasn’t fast enough. Demand means that we have to be here now, not later - with training, seminars, speaking engagements and showcases already meeting next year’s Q1 goals. Additionally we have seen strong vendor demand for our unique format ‘Technology Showcases’ which enable users to meet vendors in an ‘up front and personal way’. Subsequently we have this week launched a program to meet that demand.”
These engagements include seminars and training in major cities across the US, speaking engagements such as the upcoming DCI Business Process Management Conference in San Francisco (http://www.dci.com/brochure/bpmsf/) in November and a BPM Group TechShowcase in Dallas brought forward to February 05. Vendors are already signing for this event, with Oracle, Ultimus and Fuego all scheduled to present.
The Dallas event will follow the same proven lines as the events run in the UK where vendors including Filenet, Tibco, IDS Scheer, Popkin, Metastorm, Microsoft, Fujitsu, Ultimus, Proforma Corp, Pega Systems, Exigen, BizAgi and Graham Technology have all been represented.
The BPM Group now has 10 accredited trainers to deliver training and consulting in the US for their highly acclaimed BPM training program. This program has been successfully delivered worldwide to companies of all sizes, including Fortune Global 500 businesses.
BPMG is the largest BPM community in the world with over 8,500 registered members and 1.5 million+ hits (from over 25,000 unique visitors) per month on their website, http://www.bpmg.org. BPMG is a global community with 117 countries represented in its membership. The organization provides a wealth of resources to the BPM community including BPM training, seminars, conferences and consulting across the globe. The organization is currently engaged in an aggressive expansion of content and resources to support the rapid growth of corporate BPM adoption.
