The spring 2005 line is crafted in California and features design elements influenced by eastern imagery and philosophy. Constructed with incredibly soft combed cotton fabrics, the collection consists of tops and pants that cater to practitioners of low-impact exercise such as yoga and Pilates.

While yogawear was the initial inspiration for the venture, its owner hopes to extend the Ohmtastic vibe beyond the yoga studio. Tsasis, 27, developed the concept for Ohmtastic while attending graduate school in France and Singapore. She decided to turn the concept into reality after reading E. F. Schumacher's 1973 work Small is Beautiful: Economics as if People Mattered." Ohmtastic is first and foremost about beautiful, functional clothes. But underlying the companys business plan, marketing plan, financial projections and so on is the belief - my belief - that it is still possible to turn a profit while treating your customers, employees, suppliers and community with fairness and respect."

The Ohmtastic collection is available for wholesale distribution in addition to retail sales. Future plans for the company include an expanded women's line for fall 2005 as well as men's and children's items in 2006.
