The morning class begins Nov. 29, the afternoon class starts Nov. 15 and an evening class begins Dec. 6. Students learn Chairside Assisting, Dental Radiography and Front Office skills as a part of the curriculum and cap their training off with an Externship in a Dentists office.

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for Dental Assistants is expected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations through 2012. Job openings will continue to rise to replace others who transfer to other occupations, retire or leave the labor force for other reasons. Population growth and greater retention of natural teeth by middle age and older people will continue to fuel demand for dental services.
