Cindy describes the cake as a rich moist delicious chocolate experience draped in a heavenly whipped cream icing that has to be tasted to be believed." What started out as a personal mission for Cindy to create the perfect chocolate cake has turned into a business for the Audubon, PA resident. I hated wasting my calories on a cake that tasted like cardboard covered with sugary sweet icing." It was through a very good friends mother that the inspiration came for Cindys pursuit of the ultimate chocolate cake. Cindy recounts, I had baked a cake from a box recipe and I asked her if she wanted a piece. Cindy says that she asked if it was homemade and when I said, 'No, it is out of a box, she declined saying, Its not worth it if it was not homemade." Cindy says that was the catalyst to begin her search for the perfect, worth every calorie" cake.

Cindy experimented with dozens of recipes, tweaking this, refining that until she had the perfect chocolate cake. Cindy remembers, I just wanted the perfect cake to take to family gatherings, for my childrens birthdays, for the times when you get that chocolate craving - one worth the calories!"

But what began as a personal quest blossomed into a business, says the proud owner of Seraphim Cakes, Everyone who tasted the cake, absolutely loved it! They would lick the plate and beg for more, all the while saying that it was the best cake they had ever tasted and that I should market the cake far and wide." Cindy adds, Even those who do not like chocolate cake, have said that it is the moistest and most delicious cake they have ever tasted."
