This book is aimed at informing parents and teenagers alike of the underlying evils in the world today, and how one mother and daughter faced that evil head on.
From the book:
Emma was born into a world in which she had no control. She has suffered at the hands of those whom she is obligated to refer to as her family. This book is based on a true story. It details the harrowing events which led up to almost losing my precious child. I only hope that those of you who read this can take something good from it. There are horrible people in this world. We, as parents, can only hope that our children will never have to face such evil. My daughter Emma did face that evil and this is her story. However, all of the names have been changed.
I will go to the ends of the earth for my children. I will fight off all those who plot harm against them. This I pledge with all that I am. They are truly the radiance within my soul.
"This book is dedicated to all survivors of abuse as well as my precious daughter." Melissa Tharp, Author Innocence Stolen: A True Story
