Berkley Sign Maker Adds Decorative Touch to Oak Park, MI Extreme Makeover

BERKLEY, MI (PRWEB) November 2, 2004 -- Hill Mountain Signworks LLC (www.hillmountain.com) was called upon to contribute custom signage for a recent taping of the ABC Emmy-nominated television reality show- 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Shortly after work began in early August, producers of the program contacted Hill Mountain Signworks owner Martin Engel to inquire about custom signs for the project.

We were very excited to be able to work with the Extreme Makeover crew and contribute a custom-made sign and bracket to a deserving neighbor," Engel explains. Engel worked with show producers to create a sign that would accent a backyard workshop. Careful attention was paid to create a piece that would fit into the overall design of the house and landscape while highlighting the homeowners interest in automotive work.

The hand-made sign reads 'Larrys Garage and hangs over the workshop door from a custom fabricated bracket designed to resemble a top fuel style dragster. The sign features a custom designed panel with lettering gilded in genuine 23k gold. In addition, Engel and Hill Mountain provided sign panels for a custom built swing in the familys renovated backyard.

The episode is scheduled to air November 7 as back-to-back hour-long episodes on ABC.
