Albuquerque, NM (PRWEB) November 2, 2004 -- Cash Art Studio released another Gospel inspired work entitled "Jesus Christ and the Atonement" today on the Internet. The auction which began on November 1, 2004, and runs through November 8, 2004, features the original cubist oil painting which exhibits a raw color palette, reminiscent of artist like Pablo Picasso in its tone. Upon studying the work, the work features a cubist rendition of Jesus Christ, the cross, and the fish, all symbols of Christ. The primary subject of the work is on the Atonement.

"Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ," says Church member Artist Duane Cash. "our Heavenly Father gave us a free gift of mercy and glorious salvation. We must choose the straight and narrow way in the eternal plan of salvation, for only by repentance, baptism, and the reception of the Holy Ghost, can we bring about everlasting life in His presence when we return to our Father in Heaven.

Duane Cash also humbly praises and expresses his love for the modern-day prophet, Gordon B. Hinckley. "We have the responsibility, here in our earthly missions," said Duane. "to live in righteousness, in truth, in obedience God's commandments, in remembrance for the sacrifice of our Redeemer, in love for our neighbor and the guidance of our prophet today, Gordon B. Hinckley, in the sacred name of Jesus Christ. Amen."

Duane Cash, an American artist, currently lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico along with his wife and son. Duane and his wife Phet were recently baptized and confirmed members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Tijeras Ward. "The blessings of family, friendship, and love abound in ward," says Duane. "and I deeply grateful for all the members who have helped us in our daily lives. We have friends and a calling that magnify our faith in ways we cannot numerate. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's true church. I know that the Book of Mormon is God's gift to all mankind and the Joseph Smith was surely a prophet of God."

Another work recently gone to auction by Duane Cash is work entitled "Lehi and the Tree of Life." Both paintings ("Jesus Christ and the Atonement" and "Lehi and the Tree of Life") are expected to reach high number respectively by their auctions' end.

Recently Duane and Phet Cash were featured in the headlines of the lds.org website in an article entitled "Artists Find Inspiration in the Gospel." Duane and Phet report that they are humbly grateful for the love and recognition given to them by the article in the Church website and give much thanks for the kind words from the other member friends in their ward.

I know that Gods loves each of us. He knows us by every hair on our head, every cell in our bodies, and He has sent His Only Begotten Son to take upon Himself our burdens and debt of our sins. This is a great sacrifice, and the Atonement is the greatest event of all time, even greater than the creation, which was only and opening act for the true finale of our salvation."
