One school of thought in the hotspot business world holds that public wireless Internet access is so inherently ubiquitous that only a small number of enterprise road warriors are ever likely to actually pay for it -- that dreams of millions of travelers paying premium prices to hook to the net are just that: dreams. So, it's not the Internet access that will pull in the profits, but value-adds provided by the venue - anything from printing services to local travel/tourist information, to... who knows what?
