(PRWEB) November 7, 2004 -- Mindjaz, one of the worlds fastest growing media companies, announced today it is developing a new, hipper "60 minutes" style news magazine entitled "The VAN", Voices Across the Nation. The show will feature six gender, age and ethnically diverse anchors who will conduct investigative reports across the country. A company spokesperson stated that the show will be targeted towards a diverse demographic and will that the stories will be produced in a distinct non-partisan view of the issues. "As demonstrated by the record number of voters in the Presidential election and the passions that reach across party lines, we can see the time is right for this type of program" said Zak Stroud, Mindjaz CEO who is also the shows Executive producer. " We want a show that increases the dialogue across America without increasing the tension", he said. Stroud went on to say, " This program will hopefully be a very important program that can make a huge impact not just for TV but on society as well".
The company is currently in preproduction for the show and plans to pitch it to the networks as well as cable channels this spring. The VAN will be a unique show featuring interviews and investigative journalism, brought to audiences in a fresh engaging way. The company plans to audition VAN anchors in January and will be looking for all ages, genders and ethnicities, who are not necessarily journalists but are interested in the ideals that shape America.
