Free Comedy Show for Military Personnel at LaughAllNite Comedy Club at POP's Highwood

On Friday November 26, 2004, LaughAllNite Comedy Club will present a free comedy show to all Military Personnel in the Chicago Area. Reservations are suggested as space will fill quickly.

Thanksgiving is a special time of year. And for those service men and women stationed overseas it means time away from their loved ones. But what about the service men and women who are stationed in the United States and still are away from their loved ones?

This question bothered Tim Roesch, manager of Pops in Highwood, Illinois. Since opening the LaughAllNite Comedy Club starring Rick March to audience raves, Roesch saw the opportunity to lighten the holiday spirits of locally based service men and women with comedy.

These brave people are willing to put themselves in harms way", say Roesch. We should do what we can for them, especially during the holidays."

The comedian/comedy club manager, Rick March could not agree more. Since we opened, we have always offered discounts on cover charges to first responders and military personnel. This is just an extra holiday gift -- the gift of laughter."

The Laugh All Nite Comedy show at POPs in Highwood plays every Friday at 8:30 and stars local and nationally known comedians. The Laugh All Nite Comedy showcase plays every Tuesday at 8:00 and features the hottest young comic talent in Chicagoland.

Helping spread the hliday cheer at the show for the our military will be: Janet Kane, Karl Newyear, Gene Renfrow, Francesca Peppiatt, Dave Ott, Linda Sweig. Dont rule out a few surprises as well" quips Rick March.
