ChurchForce Invests $250k Nest Egg to Fund Development of Ministry Websites

ChurchForce, a Tampa-based Christian company has committed $250,000 to bring together the resources for building 2,000 church, ministry, and Christian business websites by December 2005.

Tampa, FL (PRWEB) November 5, 2004 -- ChurchForce, a Tampa-based Christian company has committed $250,000 to bring together the resources for building 2,000 church, ministry, and Christian business websites by December 2005. These funds were added as a result of the recent sale of their career website, ChristianJobs.Com, to Christian media company, Salem Communications. The company will create these websites through the use of their proprietary NetMinistry technology, currently powering the websites of over 600 Christian organizations throughout the US.

Rev. Jose Gomez, Jr., CEO and co-founder of the company, is confident that the initiative will succeed. We had just reached profitability as a company, and could have invested our new capital in a variety of ways, such as real estate or acquiring other businesses. But, our heart is in helping to connect the Christian community through the use of technology to power compassion, prayer, evangelism, networking, and discipleship." Mr. Gomez is currently working on a book outlining ChurchForces plan for creating this connectedness. We decided that God had provided the money and the vision. It was time to prove our faith in that vision."

After the acquisition of ChristianJobs.Com, the company added staff to prepare for the initiative. Most of the funds allocated will go towards funding those additions as well as upgrades in their website technology. The company has decided to make promotion a grassroots effort. Their acquisition also came with $100,000 in adverting with the Salem Web Network, which is already providing a boost in program enrollment. Through the program, organizations receive tens of thousands of dollars in website technology for just a few hundred dollars. Unlike many in the nonprofit website business, ChurchForce provides personal consulting, custom design for every customer, and a suite of online tools to help ministries operate more effectively. All of this is included in the programs low-cost enrollment.
